SDIY: Synthesizer Do-It-Yourself.
Why? You might ask.
For me it is the joy of building my own electronic musical instrument exactly the way I like it. I can choose what functions will be included in the synthesizer. If I don’t like a specific filter, I change it or built another one. If I don’t have enough oscillators, I add some to the system. So, it is very versatile.
It also adds a new broad range of sounds to my palette.
And last but not least does it provide an opportunity to experiment with alternative controllers to play the instrument, something I’m very interested in.
